Unsolicited is an anonymous vent wall for parenting advice. We do not ask for your name, email, or any account. The only content we store is what you voluntarily post.
What you share
When you post, we store the quote and optional context you enter. All posts appear in the public shared feed.
When you react to a post or report one, we store only an anonymous count. We do not know who reacted or reported.
What we collect automatically
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs such as your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, and the time of the request. We use these only to keep the site running and secure.
If the app crashes, our error-reporting tool may collect the error message and page URL so we can fix the problem.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use cookies. Your browser stores a small item in localStorage so you can only use each reaction once per post. This stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Accounts and email
There are no accounts and we do not collect email addresses.
How long posts stay up
Posts remain in the feed indefinitely unless they are reported and removed, or you ask us to take one down. Because posts are anonymous, we can only remove one by matching the text you share with us.
Changes
This policy may change as the site grows. If we ever add accounts, email, or other data collection, we will update this page first.
